The Bsales hiked the 1.3 miles trail around the base of the Tower. Here are the kids in the rocks.
We stayed the night at a KOA Campground located at the base of red sandstone cliffs in the shadow of the Tower. Each evening they show the movie "Close Encounters" at their little outdoor theater. None of us could make it though because we were all too tired from a great but exhausting day. Here's a shot of our camp site.
A really COOL place! Hope to get back their some day.
